How should I prepare for a treatment?

It is encouraged that you arrive 5 minutes before the session to allow for any questions

or concerns to be discussed. This also allows for you to enjoy to the full hands-on portion of the

    session.

What should I wear?

During a massage therapy treatment, massage oil is used on the unclothed

body, underwear is optional, lying between sheets and appropriately draped for warmth, comfort,

and privacy.  Only the area being worked on will be uncovered.

What is the protocol on gratuity/tipping?

Gratuity is optional - appreciated, but never expected.

Is it normal to feel sore the next day after massage, particularly

    after deep tissue work?

It is not uncommon to feel sore in the area in which deeper focused technique was applied

to during the session. The soreness is most common after the first deep treatment, and usually

lasts no longer than one to two days- it should feel as if your muscles have had a good work out at

the gym.  If you have any questions regarding post treatment concerns, please feel free to consult

    your therapist.
